    It’s a greek letter. On its own it means nothing. closest letter might be L

    “Lambda (uppercase Λ, lowercase λ; Greek: Λάμβδα or Λάμδα, lamda or lamtha) is the 11th letter of the Greek alphabet. In the system of Greek numerals lambda has a value of 30.”

    Mathematicians often use greek letters (like lambda) to represent different numbers when doing calculations. I used to do a lot of mathematics and now I don’t get to do any 🙁 (well, nothing too complex). Whenever I hear greek letters I immediately think of maths… wonderful maths.
