Question: Do you travel to other countries to find different species of animals there?

  1. Yes when I went to Maine in USA, I looked for worms to use in my research. Most of the time I work with other scientist in other countries, at the moment I’m working with scientist in Indonesia and PNG. They are working on a group of worms called Nereididae so when I find these worms in my samples I send them to Indonisia and if they find Pilargidae they send them to me.

    All the worm scientist go to worm Conferences, I have been to a worm conference in Italy and USA. This is where you meet everyone and talk about your research, it is really good to build relationships with other scientist so we can help each other.
