Question: what is an easy way to study the Periodic Table?

Keywords: , ,

  1. The way I did it was I bought a giant poster of the periodic table and stuck it on my bedroom wall (also maybe have it as your computer screensaver for a while). I would look at it whilst I was in bed at night and try and memorise the first few lines. Then I would have my friends test me by asking me to recite the first line of the periodic table in the right order including the mass and the letters of the element without looking. Its a more fun way to try and learn things.

I wouldn’t worry about it too much though because in most exams they will give you a copy of the table anyway and over time you will start remember what each elements letters are.

  2. Jennifer is right, over time you will remember the most common elements in the periodic table. I still have to go check the table if there is an element I can’t remember.

  3. I also check textbooks or the internet if I can’t remember the table, but there are songs that you can learn to help you remember it. That’s if musical learning is something that suits you!
