Question: What selected classes did you take to be the scientist you are? Do you believe you were going to make all your classes?

I took Biology, English literature and performance arts in 6th form college and then I went to college for another year after that and did maths and chemistry so I could get onto the course I wanted to at university. In university I did marine biology.

I did well in Biology, performance arts and chemistry but not so well in maths. I was never really good at maths, I found it really boring, but Ive gotten much better at it as I have gotten older! I worked really hard in university because I enjoyed the subject. If you pick subjects that interest you then you will do well in them. I think you need at least C or B grades to get into a university. So work hard to get your C’s and B’s and hopefully some A’s!!
