Question: Does the Ozone layer which is around the Earth protect us from the the sun's solar wind aswell as the magnetosphere of our world.

  1. No. The ozone layer is way lower than the magnetospheres influence. Its primary characteristic is to absorb 97-99 percent of the suns ultra violet RADIATION. The solar wind is made up of charged particles. which are deflected by the magnetoshpere. As it happens I saw a cool aurora last night where the cosmic rays interacted with the magnetsphere.

  1. you know the ozone layer stops most of the suns light from bouuncing back into space. However, if we pollute too much that layer forms a hole and that means that the suns light won’t be trapped so without the ozone layer the earth would be aproximately -18 degrease C!
I fing the zone layer so interesting! you should really learn more about it!
