Well my mother was a trained nurse, but when she met my Dad who is a Tool maker she started working for him as an accountant. My Mom and Dad are directors of their own Company they make cable-couplers for the mines. My bother is an Engineer and has started working for them as well.

My mum is a nurse at an aged care home and my dad was a teacher, but he is happily retired now. When I was really little my dad was an artist and we would paint these massive wall-sized paintings, but he became fed up with the art community. It’s certainly hard to make money as an artist!

I come from a working class background. My dad worked in a factory and my mum worked as a cashier in a shop. They met in school when they were 15 years old and left school before taking any exams so had no qualifications and then got pregnant and married at 17!! lol. How times have changed! They did well for themselves considering though! me and my brothers all have good jobs thanks to our parents being so supportive.
