Question: Do you really only live three hundred meters away from the beach and if so, how many animals have you seen on the beach nesting or hatching doing your work of under standing Australia's coastal environment

The beach is urban, with a nature reserve behind so see lots of dogs. But wild life, rakali (water rats), penguins, dolphins, very rarely a whale, seagulls, seals, shearwaters.
I love the kayak to work, no traffic jams, the cormorants and penguins are lovely on a calm, still morning.
