All I know is that the ‘god particle’ is usually referring to the recently discovered Higgs boson which is a particle that supposedly gives everything mass. I never studied physics in a formal sense, so I struggle to understand this stuff. I think the scientists involved are struggling to understand it themselves because it is such a recent discovery!
