Hmmm… we definitely eat plants and animals, but here’s a list of animals that can eat us for food:
Lions, Leopards, Cougars, Tigers (I’d say all the big cats), Sharks, Bears, Wolves, Boa constrictors… can you think of any others?
Sharks take a bite occasionally, but at the less spectacular end……. (SO TO SPEAK)
Our exrcement (poo) is utilised by algae as a form of nutrients to grow so comes back in at the base of the food chain. Recycled water from sewerage plants is great for growing lettuces as it is high in nutrients (from us) And my lemon tree thrives on human nutrients. On our block we have a composting toilet where we make hu-manure.
Hahaha, I definitely wasn’t trying to gross anyone out. It’s just a fact that there are animals on this planet that could eat us if they wanted to. Like Shona said, we are just animals too… the circle of life 🙂
Absolutely – we eat things and occasionally get eaten too
