One things that i really liked was visiting South Korea. It was not somewhere I had ever thoughtbof going but bit it was an awesome place to visit. Great country and really nice people and very cool food.
Travelling overseas by myself for 5 months was a big thing for me. I am very indecisive so when I was by myself, there was no one else to make important decisions for me. I learnt how to be much more independent.
In terms of something more courageous, when I was a camp counsellor in the U.S.A. I was asked to go inside a cabin to flush out a skunk! I was worried that if it sprayed me I would stink forever. Luckily I was brave enough to go in there alone to shoo the skunk out without getting sprayed. This was a big turning point for me 😉
Had two children. Rachel is 13 and in grade 8, Josh is 11 and in grade 8. I am really enjoying sharing their lives with them and how they enable me to see things in new ways, through their eyes.
Moving to Australia for a job is probably the biggest thing I’ve done in my life in terms of it being a life changing event. I left behind all my family and friends in England and I miss them everyday. But I have made new friends out here and the job prospects are much better over here. So no regrets from me! I love living over here! Australia gets all the sunshine! 🙂
Hmmm… possibly when I went sky diving. It was the first time in my life that I was not attached to the ground, in some way…
