Ive never been to Hawaii unfortunately, but I do intend to go one day so I can see the volcanoes! I have been to New york. I went with my friends when I was 18. Its really weird when you’re there because although you’ve never been there before you recognise every building and street from tv shows and movies. How about you?

I went to Hawaii once when I was a kid. It was pretty cool. I remember giant waves. The beach was not so great because it was all coral bits, not sand. It hurt my feet.
But otherwise it was pretty awesome

Yes to both.
Hawaii a couple of times for work. New York a few times for fun while in transit. I worked as a camp counselor at a US kids camp in my summer holidays whilst at Uni, that gave me places to stay and people to see in the big apple. I am more a country bumpkin at heart and enjoyed a great “day off” in Yosemite National Park Last December before a science meeting.

I’ve been to New York – I was a camp counsellor like Simon, so I got to see a bit of the U.S. then. I went to Niagra falls which was so beautiful!
I’ve been to Hawaii too, but that was by accident! When I was flying from L.A. to Melbourne my plane had to make an emergency landing because there was a burning smell coming from somewhere. It was fortunately just a fridge that had burnt out, so there was nothing wrong with the plane – I’m all safe and sound!
