Most of the quantum particles include things like electrons and neutrons and nuetrinos. These are the things that combine together to form atoms and all the “stuff” we see around us. All of these particles have mass, except one. The photon is energy only and very special. The photon is actually a “particle” of light. It turns out that we can think of light as a wave of energy moving through space or as a bunch of little light packets called photons. This has some weird consequences and is the basis of quantum mechanics.
